One simple choice, between A and B, creates only two parallel realities, or an infinite number of them

-I think it would be two, because it would take other choices/factors for those realities themselves to diverge to more.......
a simple choice of A or B would cause 2 parallel realities but few choices are that simple and can be done in very different ways. For example cereal or toast, cereal the milk could spill in an infinite number of directions making infinite realities or toast, it could be dropped or the buttering could start from any direction. the direction of the spill or the buttering could be off by millimeters and for every millimeter difference there would be a new reality.

two. but most real-life events are composite(that is they consist of many events).each of those giving a number of parallel universes based on the number of choices.
