if the vaulters horizontal component of velocity over the bar is 1.5 m/s and air resistance is disregarded, how high is the jump?please help! it is greatly appreciated!h = 5.......
a 55.9 kg pole vaulter running at 10.7 m/s vaults over the bar. if the vaulter's horizontal component of velocity over the bar is 1.5 m/s and air resistance is disregarded, how high is the jump?

m*g*h = ½m*(V1² - V2²)

h = (V1² - V2²)/(2g)

h = 5.73 m
