both are there.The car does 15 metres in 1 sec., and force applied is 3,500N.Work done = (15 x 3500) = 52,......
an engine exerts a force of 3500N to pull a car on a track at 15 m/s. What is power developed by engine?

The answer is 53 000W but I think the question is missing a variable..?

You need time and distance, both are there.
The car does 15 metres in 1 sec., and force applied is 3,500N.
Work done = (15 x 3500) = 52,500 joules.
This is that 1 sec., so power = 52,500W.
I don't know why it has been rounded up.

-
P = F*V = 3500*15 = 52500 W
