The speed of sound is given as 1500 m/s. The time for the sound to travel to the fishes and back is 6*8 or 48 ms.
The total distance traveled by the sound is 1500*0.048 = 72 m The distance to the fishes is half this, or 36 m

10 s later the distance is ½*0.04*1500 = 30 m The fish moved 36 - 30 = 6 m in 10 s, which is a speed of 6 m/s
