How much net force is required to accelerate a 872kg car at 5 km/s^2?

I got 4360 N but it's wrong, need help.

You must have forgotten to convert it to SI units :)

Remember:
Acceleration : m/s² <.< Important

Now:

F = ma
= 872 kg x 5000 m/s²
= 4360000 N
