In the case of the inflation of the universe from the big bang, negative pressure, which is a kind of negative energy, appears to be the source and is consistent with General Relativity.......
Could that be the source of the dark energy and gravity? I mean, its like the same mechanism observed in major scales. Dark energy expands the universe from any point you look at, and gravity contracts the universe.

Gravity has mass and energy as it's source. Look up Einsteins's General Relativity which relates the curvature of space-time (gravity) to mass and energy which serves as the source of the curvature.

Particles that pop into and out of the vacuum (as allowed by the energy-time version of the uncertainty principle) are already incorporated into conventional quantum theories. Dark energy, which appears to be associated with the vacuum, has no known source. Note though, that Einsten's General Relativity equation can also describe the expansion of the universe although it requires negative energy to do so. In the case of the inflation of the universe from the big bang, negative pressure, which is a kind of negative energy, appears to be the source and is consistent with General Relativity.
