Newton's Third Law of Motion 2 Questions

After the release the air would come out in one direction (action) but the balloon would go in the opposite direction (reaction). This is similar to the movement of rocket when it is fired.Third law states: For every action, equal and opposite reaction would be there.......
if you dive off the side of a pool into the water and consider the action force to be your feet pushing backwards and down on the edge of the pool what is the reaction force?

Suppose you hold the end of an inflated balloon closed, and release it to allow the compressed air to be forced out the back of the balloon. Explain in term so Newton's three laws of motion what happens to the air and th balloon before and after the balloon is released.

Hello amateurwriter, as you push the edge of the pool (action) then you would move apart from that edge (reaction)
This is what the swimmers would do as they reach one end and continue the competition.
Before the release balloon is at rest. After the release the air would come out in one direction (action) but the balloon would go in the opposite direction (reaction). This is similar to the movement of rocket when it is fired.
Third law states: For every action, equal and opposite reaction would be there.
