I find it quite strange that questions still set in Imperial units keep popping up. Most are in metric units now.
It will displace 12ft^3 of water, which has a mass of (12 x 0.02832) x 1,000kg = 339.84kg.
(339.84 x 2.204) = 749 lbf.
