EPIC Prank in planning stages! Do Horseshoe crabs live on the west coast, I need to know.

I cannot reveal the epicness of this prank I just need to know if horseshoe crabs live on the westcoast at all or more specially in the northwest.

The habit of the Atlantic Horseshoe Crab is from the Gulf of Maine to the Gulf of Mexico. Closest living relatives are found in the East Indes, China and Japan, so not found on the west coast. The spike-like tail is NOT poisonous.

I don't know if they are found on the west coast but I do know that if you step on a live one, you're as good as dead. Venom in the tail spike...
