Are ants immune to lead

they are susceptible to lead poisoning like you and me. However, the lead in your pencil is actually just Graphite. This is an all-Carbon crystal that is used for drawing, writing, etc.......
I'm trying to poison the ants in my house with pencil lead. I get my brother to smash pencil lead into powder, then put it on chocolate, sticky sweets, sugar, etc. to attract the ants. But I'm worried that the ants might not get poisoned by the lead. Can ants get lead poisoning?

nope, they are susceptible to lead poisoning like you and me. However, the "lead" in your pencil is actually just Graphite. This is an all-Carbon crystal that is used for drawing, writing, etc.

I wouldn't advise playing with real lead. It can be dangerous and is very easily be absorbed into your skin.

if you want to repel them, get a bottle of isopropyl alcohol and drop some by where they come out from. won't last forever though
