Life cycle-being beetles,they go through a larval stage in which they hibernate over the winter..in spring they PUPATEand begin their adult mating stage.........
Do they migrate or something?

Females lay eggs and they over winter as a larava. They then take a few years to pupate and pupation takes a week and a half then they are an adult which lives long enough to mate and lay eggs. Life cycle
