What is the ultimate fate of neutron stars

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-05-01] [Hit: ]
-If left alone, a neutron star will eventually cool off and spin down, becoming a solid mass of neutrons, but this takes *MUCH* longer than the age of the Universe.-It will eventually get sucked into a black hole. Like everything else.......
I know that it's spin will slow down and gradually cool I guess, but would it eventually "evaporate" by neutrons quantum tunelling out of it's gravitational field?
