How can i improve that experiment where you send a camera to the edge of space using a weather balloon

hypothesis, procedures, data, analysis and conclusion.Just launching a camera with a weather balloon isnt really an experiment by itself........
I need to do a project or school (its for a scholarship actually) and i would really like to do this. However, i dont think it would look right if i straight copied what someone else did. So is there anyway i could do this project expect make it better?? Would using a rocket in addition to the balloon be a good idea?

here is the original video incase no one has seen it

First of all, what exactly is it you're trying to accomplish?

Next, if it's supposed to be an experiment, that means you have to use the scientific method and write a formal science report, so phrase your idea in terms of purpose, hypothesis, procedures, data, analysis and conclusion. Just launching a camera with a weather balloon isn't really an experiment by itself..

For example: Just the camera with a single weather balloon is your control. Your purpose could be to find a way to get the camera higher. Come up with 2 or 3 other designs, build them, try them, find out which one performed the best, that's your conclusion.

There will be a lot of challenges combining a rocket and weather balloon together, but if you could do that, you could potentially launch the camera into space without a huge rocket. Who knows? Maybe NASA could use your idea to use really huge balloons to send satellites into orbit?
