I think it's the littlest planet, but drop some knowledge.

A very small planet but I do not buy into the argument that it is an escaped asteroid.

Pluto, formal designation 134340 Pluto, is the second-most-massive known dwarf planet in the Solar System (after Eris) and the tenth-most-massive body observed directly orbiting the Sun. Originally classified as the ninth planet from the Sun, Pluto was recategorized as a dwarf planet and plutoid due to the discovery that it is one of several large bodies within the newly charted Kuiper belt. Like other members of the Kuiper belt, Pluto is composed primarily of rock and ice and is relatively small: approximately a fifth the mass of the Earth's Moon and a third its volume. It has an eccentric and highly inclined orbit that takes it from 30 to 49 AU (4.4–7.4 billion km) from the Sun. This causes Pluto to periodically come closer to the Sun than Neptune. As of 2011, it is 32.1 AU from the Sun.

Let me answer this question without ever once using the word "planet" or "dwarf planet". Despite the fact that Pluto's official category (as of 2006) is a "dwarf planet".

Pluto is a body of mass 1.305*10^22 kilograms, radius of 1153 kilometers, and an average density of 2000 kg/m^3 (about that of concrete). Pluto is comprised of a crust of frozen nitrogen, and an interior of frozen water, and a rocky core.

Here is an artist's impression of what it might look like from the surface of Pluto:

It is a member of a class of objects known as a KBO:

It appears to have been diverted to the inner part of the solar system where it became a planet. Note that currently it is fashionable to deny the planetary status of Pluto. Fashions change.

It probably looks like this:
