I now open my question for speculation.
Fact: Earth used to have a moon that spun on its axis. It stopped spinning and now it is cold.
Hypothesis: Could the solar rays of the sun cause mass condensation of the melting polar caps which alternately warm and cool diurnally causing the Earth to stop spinning on its axis and causing the Earth to freeze?
Method: For the Science Fair I think that I will use a glass aquarium in which to build igloos on rotating plates under a lightbulb complete with a fan to manipulate the effect of the light on the igloos in order to control the melting of the igloos in such a way to prove that the igloos will begin to melt then refreeze continuously in expanding frozen puddles. By extension, if I were able to increase the H20 to the aquarium as the Earth's atmosphere manages to exploit its water supply, I would prove that the igloos would melt and then refreeze across the surface of the Earth's portion of the aquarium.
This principle could be shown in part if you put a plastic bottle of soda in your freezer and then take it out before ice begins to crystalize - such that the liquid will still move in the bottle. Once you take the soda bottle out of the freezer and put it on your room temperature counter then open the cap you will note that the warm atmosphere outside of the freezer upon entering the soda bottle will freeze somewhat (turn to slush) the soda in the bottle which will then overflow all over your counter in puddles - some with slush, some liquid. If you were able at this point make your counter area as cold as your freezer, the liquid and slush would turn to ice and you kitchen would stop spinning.

Yet here is my analysis, you must consider all of the variables in this hypothesis.
Mars froze over because it did not have enough mass/gravity to hold it's atmosphere. The cause of Mars having a weak gravitatonal field and the effect of the sun stripping away it's atmosphere is what cause Mars to get as cold as it is. Yet in a interdisiplinary sense Astronomy and Meteorology should be replaced with Chemistry, Thermodynamics and Meteorology. This is still a genius experiment yet I think it should be done with the latter instead of the formal.
