or TTP to TDP would also yield the same eamount of energy so why are they not used as the universal energy currency in place of ATP ?Greatly appreciate any helpful answers.-Adenine is a formal polymer of HCN (C5H5N5) and is also a fairly stable compound in the conditions thought to have existed in the prebiotic soup. It is, therefore, reasonably possible that significant concentrations of adenine base existed in the primordial soup leading to ATP from the very beginning.......
GTP, CTP and TTP also have 3 phosphate groups that have pyrophosphate bonds of equivalent energy as those in ATP (adensosine triphosphate) so hydrolysis of GTP to GDP, or TTP to TDP would also yield the same eamount of energy so why are they not used as the universal energy currency in place of ATP ?

Greatly appreciate any helpful answers.

It is, therefore, reasonably possible that significant concentrations of adenine base existed in the primordial soup leading to ATP from the very beginning.
