Do Cytotoxic T Cells only recognize MHC I complexes, or both MHC I or MHC II? My Biology book says "only MHC I" and my Neuroanatomy book says "both MHC I and MHC II."

They're both wrong. I suggest you stick with the answer in the book for the class or the prof gave you journal to read than take it from that source. Immunology doesn't have alot of sweeping generalizations you can make about it.
