What causes humans to look at their poop

You drop a duece then immediately peak a glance, like out of instinct.. what reason have we involved as a specias to do this? Or am I the only person who starres at his fecal matter from time to time?

curiosity maybe some people like to check if its healthy etc, do you stare at it and think i could just throw this at someone quite easily? . Actually, its good to look after you use the bathroom because then you can tell if there's something wrong or anything. That and I think it's more or just human nature to do so.

as much as it is human nature, it is also checking for a symptom of disease.

blood in the stool, and loos stools are symptoms of disease.

i do it cuz i wanna see what was inside of me and then i can say "whoa! i had all that inside of me!" it blows my mind every time

curious on what colour it is
curious on how big it is

or the smell made you look at it

to see if it's of adequate consistency to be flung
