!!-okay first off,so far you have moles= x/58.okay M (molarity) is moles divided by liters.you have .......
I really need help with question. Can someone please go step by step and explain PLEASE!!!!!

okay first off, you know moles is
Grams divided by molar mass
(molar mass= molecular weight)
you don't know the grams because you are trying to find that so make grams x
so far you have moles= x/58.54

okay M (molarity) is moles divided by liters.
you have .1 liters (you are given 100 ml. you need to move the decimal place 3 places over to find liters because there are 1000 mililiters in a liter)
set up your equation
M= moles/ liters
.5= x/58.54/ .1
multiply both sides by .1
.05= x/ 58.54
multiply both sides by 58.54
2.927=x ANSWER
the ANSWER is 2.927 grams

to clarify, molarity is grams divided by molecular weight divided by liters of solution
M=grams / molecularweight / liters

And I forgot to say Thanks A Million!!!!!
