The polygon with all of the boxes - does it have a name?
For example, hexagon is six sides.

The boxes are polyhedrons called quadrahedrons, not polygons. What you called a circular polygon is a sphere. There's no specific naming convention for the sphere. But you could generally describe it. Suppose it has 200 quadrahedrons (I don't know how many it has). You could call it a 200-quadrahedron-faceted sphere (I made that up).
