What do the pakistan floods have to do with geography

Well take the contour of the land. High mountains don't suffer a lot from floods, though they do have avalanches and mud slides.
Low lying valleys on the other hand suffer from floods and also mud slides.

Mountains and valleys fit into geography more than they fit into chemistry or mathematics.

2. vast plains dowmnstream
3. non-alluvial soil in the plains
