Im expecting a interacial family soon and i was wondering if minnesota is a good place to raise children of a mixed race, although i've heard good feedback i've also heard severe negative feedback.

You can't generalize about an entire state. Every state has areas and people who you could call racist, and every state has areas where people are tolerant. I bet you could move to one town in MN where you would feel comfortable, and in the next town down the road you might not, depending on whose path you cross. As you probably know, all it takes is one or two people to make you feel discriminated against.
