How would you simplify: x² +9x +14 over x² - 49 divided by 3x +6 over x² + x- 56

......
(x^2 +9x +14) / (x^2-49) divided by (3x+6) / (x^2 +x -56)

is the same as

(x^2+9x+14) / (x^2-49) TIMES (x^2+x-56) / (3x+6)

factor fully then cancel like crazy.

(x+7)(x+2) / (x+7)(x-7) TIMES (x+8)(x-7) / 3(x+2)

NOTE that in the left fraction, (x+7) / (x+7) = 1, so they cancel each other out

(x+2) / (x-7) TIMES (x+8)(x-7) / 3(x+2)

NOTE that through cross-cancelling, (x+2)s cancel each other out

1 / (x-7) TIMES (x+8)(x-7) / 3

NOTE that (x-7)s cross-ccancel each other out

1 / 1 TIMES (x+8) / 3

(x+8) / 3

can't simplify further, give restrictions.

-
just factorise each expression then simplify
