C) (0,D) (-1,How do We figure that out?2) Where does 5x - 2y = 10 cross the y-axis?Step by Step Please.x = 1 ,......
1) Which point lies on the region defined by: 3x + 2y < 6

A) (3,2)
B) (-1, 5)
C) (0,3)
D) (-1,2)

How do We figure that out? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

2) Where does 5x - 2y = 10 cross the y-axis?

3)What is the solution os this system of equations:

x + 2y = 7
4x - 3y + -5

Step by Step Please. Thanks

-
3x + 2y < 6
2y < -3x + 6
y < (-3/2)x + 3

then take line of equation y = (-3/2)*x + 3
for x = 0 then y = 3
for x = 2 then y = 0

so draw it and plot these points; the one which is to the side of < the line then its ur point

2) 2x - 2y = 10
u want y-intercept then x=0
2y = -10
y=-5

3)4x + 6y = 28
4x - 3y= -5

subtract
9y = 33
y=33/9 = 11/3

then in 1st equation substitute y with its value
x + (11/3)*2 = 7
x = 7 - 22/3
x = -1/3

Qu 1
D-----------because - 3 + 4 < 6

Qu 2
y = - 5

Qu 3
3x + 6y = 21
8x - 6y = - 10---------ADD

11 x = 11
x = 1

1 + 2y = 7
y = 3

x = 1 , y = 3
