Taking Applied Partial Differential Equations and calc 3 at the same time

Check with the department chair, or an instructor teaching the class.......
Does it matter? I'm in my 3rd year, due to bouncing around majors my class schedule is kind of wacky.

The preeqs for PDE is DE and Linear Algebra, both of which Ive taken, but ill be taking calc 3 in the fall. Are there topics in PDE that require calc 3 (vector & multivariable calc) knowledge?

thx.

i took calculus 3 before differential equations, i dont know if PDE is that different than DE in terms of the calculus involved, plus in DE, there was mainly calc.1 and 2 involved not much of calculus 3.. you still have to ask your advisor or the instructors of these courses, but as far as i personally see it, there is no problem in taking them both, although calculus 3 requires a lot of work, u have to be willing to put in some hard work next semester.

It depends on the course prerequisites and the college requirements. Check with the department chair, or an instructor teaching the class.
