Joran, here are a few tips...
1. If you are still in school, pay attention in class and do all of your homework.
2. Register to play games on math websites such as brainpop.
3. If you have the money, you can get a math tutor.
4. Read! Read and Practice! Borrow books from the library on algebra, trig, calculus, etc...
5. Enhance your basic math skills. Memorize the multiplication chart, become good at addition and subtraction. Learn how to do long division.
6. When practicing on your own time, try not to use a calculator as much. Try to do it by hand, or in your head if you feel confident enough. Always check to see if your answer is correct.
