find the radius of turn, in metres ,Please show me methodically how to find a solution to this answer!r = (300*0.0514)/(9.81*tan(45 deg)) = 1.......
The formula Tan0=v2/gr relates the radius of turn (r metres of an aircraft at an angle of bank of 0 degrees if it is flying at a speed of V ms-1.

If 1 knot=.0514 ms-1, find the radius of turn, in metres , of an aircraft an an angle of bank of 45 degrees flying at a speed of 300 kts

Please show me methodically how to find a solution to this answer!

-
tan(o) = v^2/gr

ie r = v^2/(gtan(o))

r = (300*0.0514)/(9.81*tan(45 deg)) = 1.57m (2 decimals)
