determine how many questions will be written after 6 hours has passed.What was so hard about that?......
A textbook author has written 50 questions and can write a further 5 questions per hour.
a) Write the linear equation that represents this relationship, using q for questions and h for hours.

b) Using your rule, or otherwise, determine how many questions will be written after 6 hours has passed.

-
q=5h+50

q=5(6)+50
q=30+50
q=80

-
n = 5t + 50

where n = number of total questions and t = time in hours

So after 6 hours:
n = 5(6) + 50
n = 30 + 50
n=80

What was so hard about that?

-
q=50+5h
after 6 more hoours
q=50+5(6)
q=80

-
q = 50 + 5h

q = 50 + (5)(6) = 80
