c=2

so i plugged in ... idid 5 times 5... 25
25 minus 17 + 2(2)
igot... 25-17+4
then, 25- 21
... igot 4


but the problem is .... that wasnt a choice:/

yes you did do something wrong, its not order of operations. You messed up on the last step on the part where you got 25-17+4. instead of adding 17 & 4, you do 25-17 first because its left to rite therefore leaving it 8+4 which equals 12 so the answer 12

5^2-17+2^2
^ -->25 ^ -->4
25-17+4 or 25+ -17+4

25-17=8
8+4=12

first i got 4 to. but if u combine 4 & 25 u get 29. then subtract 17 and get 12. so 12 is the right answer
