What would the equation of this line be in "y=mx+b" form

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-02-29] [Hit: ]
So its #2.I hope this information was very helpful.2,y=-3/4-5/8-6x -8y -5=0.......
The equation is: 6x -8y -5=0.
I am stuck on whether it would be either of these answers:

1. y=6/8x +5
2. y=6/8x -5/8

10 POINTS TO THE BEST ANSWER! Thank you. :)

-
6x - 8y -5 = 0
Move the 6x over, then add 5 to both sides to get:
-8y=-6x +5
then divide both sides by -8 to get:
y= 6/8 -5/8

So the second choice is correct.

-
Move y to the other side

6x - 5 = 8y

Divide by 8
y = 3/4 x - 5/8

So it's #2.

I hope this information was very helpful.

-
6x-8y-5=0
the answer is the second won :)
2, y= 6/8x -5/8

-
The answer is y=-6/8-5/8 or reduced
y=-3/4-5/18
6x-8y-5=0
-8y-5=-6x
-8y=-6x+5
y=-6/8-5/8
y=-3/4-5/8

-
6x -8y -5=0.
-8y = -6x + 5
y = 6/8x - 5/8

-
2

-
answer 2/ and need simplify

-
y=6/8x - 5/8
