When working with equations you have to do the same to both sides of what you do to one side.
F= 9C/5 +32
x5 5F=9C+32 x5
-32 5F-32=9C -32
divide by 9 5F-32 divided by/over 9 =C divide by 9

Answer : C=5F-32 divided by/over 9

Multiply 5 to all terms

Subtract 32 both sides

(9/5)C = F - 32
Multiply 5 both sides

9C = 5(F - 32)

Divide 9

C = (5/9)(F - 32)
