Divide the sum of -13 and 37 by 6

i miss grade 7.

ans. = 4

Try writing it with the signs:

(-13 + 37) / 6 = 4

as they are saying "divide the sum of -13 and 37" as a unit, it suggest it should be done before the division.

-13 + 37 = 24. 24/6 = 4.

-13 + 37 = 24
24 / 6 = 4

37-13=24
24/6=4
