In my AP calc class we are reviewing for the CST and i totally forgot how to do these types of problems. i feel a bit silly....haha anyways please help me!
Andy's average driving speed for a 5 hr trip was 50 mph. During the first 3 hrs he drove 40 mph, What was his average speed for the last 2 hrs of his trip??

not sure if this is correct but 5 hr at 50 mph so 5 x 50 = 250. he drove 3 hours at 40 mph 3 x 40 = 120. then 250 - 120 = 130. then 2 hours left so divide by 2 = 65mph
