True/False - If A,B and C are three sets such that A ⊄ B and B ⊄ C then A ⊄ C.


i think this statement is False ...am i correct ?

There are examples where it is true and there example where it it false. So it is false!

Example 1:A = {1, 2), B = {3, 4} and C = {1,2,3,4} the conjecture is false
Example 2: A = {1, 2), B = {3, 4} and C = {7, 8} the conjecture is true.

But if it is not true for all A, B and C, then it is false.
