Sum of a series math question

Difference = 1
Term 1 = 2
Find the sum of the first 30 terms.
Please help!

nth term = 2+(n-1) = n+1
30th term = 31
Sum = (2+31)*15 = 495

Given a1 = 2, d = 1
S30 = n·a1 + n(n - 1)d/2 = 30·2 + 30·29·1/2 = 495

Simply 30(2 + 31)/2 = 495
