6x-13=3x+11
I can get to 6x=3x+24 but then i dont know the rest of the steps to get my answer.

6x - 13 = 3x + 11
6x = 3x + 24
subtract 3x from both sides (what you do on one side you must do to the other)
6x-3x = 3x + 24 - 3x
3x=24
divide by 3 on both sides
x=8

From there bring the 3x over and now you take it away from the 6x so it's now

3x=24
3
- = 8

24


X = 8

6x-13=3x+11

6x-3x=24

3x=24

x=8
