i been on dilantin for 5 years and still having seizures sometimes my doctor put me on 1500mg keppra day any one ever have this experience before?

I was given a course of Keppra, too, after Dilantin alone no longer did the job.
I tolerated it pretty well for a while, but then i started to have problems with coordination and double vision. They took me off that, put me on Tegretol, and the same thing happened - ok for while, then coordination (equilibrium) problems and double vision.
Anyway, now I take Dilantin and phenobarb with no severe side effects.
This doesn't mean you will have problems with Keppra, though - everyone is different. What type of seizures do you have? Mine are tonic/clonic.
