Is it wrong to live a life guided purely by science?

So eventually your going to not be able to answer something by using observational science & youll have to use some other field of study. You shouldnt put all of your faith into one field of study because one field of study cant answer every single thing & this is why we have numerous fieids of study, so the things that other fields cant deal with, the others can. For example, a Geologist cant do a Philosophers work.......

virtualguy92107 say: Not wrong, just impossible. Our nervous systems and brains operate in a way that makes it impossible to make decisions purely rationally.

Candice say: I believe it is wrong to put all of your faith into observational science because observational science has its limitations, just like any field of study. So eventually your going to not be able to answer something by using observational science & you'll have to use some other field of study.

You shouldn't put all of your faith into one field of study because one field of study can't answer every single thing & this is why we have numerous fieids of study, so the things that other fields can't deal with, the others can.

For example, a Geologist can't do a Philosophers work. They're are two completely different fields of study. Another example is an Archeologist. An Archeologist can't do a Astronomers work, because again, they're are two very different fields of study & this is why it is very silly to put all of your faith into observational science, which is a natural science, & natural science can't answer questions about morals, ethics or aesthetics. Only other fields can do that.

Happy Hiram say: I can live a life guided purely by astrology too but any form of insight has its limitations.

To apply science beyond what it knows or in ways it was not intended is superstition.

Larry K. say: I do not wish to insult you or your answerers, but no one has stated the obvious: it's impossible. We are not automatons. The day science learns to create a human devoid of emotion is the day we cease to exist. How cold and pointless life would become if we could separate all emotion from our lives. On that day we cease to be human and life becomes meaningless.
