Listen. Those that you describe listen and then act on what they hear. God speaks to us daily, hour by hour, minute by minute in many different ways. If we'd but listen.

That's not a gift, it's a coincidence. There's no evidence gods exist, or that praying helps. If you want your life to change, you're going to have to do it yourself. Don't give anyone money who claims otherwise.

I am a Christian. I believe you are surrounded by believers who like to sort of show off their religion.
Read your bible. Where does it tell you that you are a better Christian if you are like the people you are telling us about? NO WHERE
Christ calls us to be humble. Christ doesn't grade us in degrees of how dynamic we are compared to others.
Your passion for you faith comes from within your heart. If you fear that you need to do better or be better like other people then you are missing the message Christ gives us. It is NOT by works that we are saved but by faith.
The term "anointed" is viewed differently by a variety of people. You might need to find a church that doesn't focus so much on being anointed. I assume you mean speaking in tongues. There is very little written about speaking in tongues, thus why some churches focus so much on this is beyond me. It is clears in the bible that the gift needs interruption. I have yet to see this happen when a person speaks in tongues. I personally think that this is a minor gift and is used to communicate with people who don';t speak our language.
It is important that in your faith you don't look to other believers because they might not be right. YOU need to think on your own, you need to ask, WHERE IS IT WRITTEN. Then you will see that there are so many gifts that the Holy Spirit gives and that the anointing isn't such an important thing.
I think people who focus on tongues are way off the mark of what Christ offers us in the connection that He give us to God the Father, the Creator of the universe. In the scheme of the universe can you see that this anointment is not something that needs to be focused on?
You will miss out on so much in life if you waste time being worried about this. Christ came to set us free, not to bind us with outward demonstrations of what some call necessary to be Christlike.
