Hello,

I currently live in the State of Pennsylvania, and I'm in Northampton County which is Bethlehem, PA.

I know my first step would be my local college which is Northampton Community College, and their website is Northampton.edu.

I'm not in High School. I graduated as of June 2001.

In the future, would Caltech be difficult to get into for a BS in Physics, MS, and PhD in Theoretical Physics string theory? Or would it be best to go to Caltech for a PhD degree only, but another school for BS, and MS? Or what schools should I go too? Degress to study to get into a PhD string theory, and what degrees should I get before Caltech?

I have to admit that my High School GPA was far from good.

Caltech is one of the most selective schools in the entire world. It doesn't care where prospective students come from - meaning that in-state students don't get any preverence.. But they better be able to demostrate that they're whizzes in math and science. One way to do this is to get a four-year bachelor's degree in physics and knock the socks off of the faculty. Then you might have a chance.

Where was your high school? no offense but the local college being Northampton Community college doesn't sound all to convincing... sorry. and String Theory? I trust you know what you're doing! Im not sure how to answer this but I just want to say good luck!
