How do you solve this using a calculator

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-01-27] [Hit: ]
.u dont need a calc to do this.even if its something like 2^x = 57 you can do it in the above manner.x = log(2) ≈ 0.30102999566398119521373889472449-get a specific calculator that has those symbols. go to staples and ask.......
x if 10^x = 2

-
10^x = 2
taking common logarithm on both sides,
log 10^x = log 2
x log 10 = log 2
(log 10 = 1)
=> x = log 2
=> x = 0.3010.

Truth is..u dont need a calc to do this. (:
even if its something like "2^x = 57" you can do it in the above manner. (by just using the 'log' function which comes with almost every scientific calc)

-
x = log(2)

Use the common log function of the calculator
10^x = 2
x = log(2) ≈ 0.30102999566398119521373889472449

-
get a specific calculator that has those symbols. go to staples and ask.

-
You take the common logarithm of each side and the solution is x = 0.30102999

-
That question doesn't make sense.

-
take log
x = log2
x = 0.30103

-
your question is not good. There is no calculator to solve this
