What actually is voltage

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-03-24] [Hit: ]
You mean to say that If you apply higher voltage then electron should move very fast(current) so it should hit the other electron with more power. But friend thats never occur.Reasons.1). Voltage itself arises due to Power.(if you dont kick electron powerfully how can the electron inside a metal get energy which is at equilibrium)2).......

So Voltage is like force.(voltage itself is a difference in Work done which itself is derived from force)

so you are kicking one electron at equilibrium with electron that is more energetic.

Positive and negative end concepts come how electron goes from one place to other. So that is nothing to play here(ok in this case).

OK. The more you kick electron the more it can give energy to other electron.

Second

and how can we explain the power consumption principle in simple terms that power = voltage × current. where increasing voltage decreases current.
how is that possible? i thought higher voltage meant higher current.

This is some thing you understood in wrong way.

Power does not come a product of voltage and current. Power is external entity. Anyway.

You mean to say that If you apply higher voltage then electron should move very fast(current) so it should hit the other electron with more power.

But friend thats never occur.

Reasons.

1). Voltage itself arises due to Power.(if you dont kick electron powerfully how can the electron inside a metal get energy which is at equilibrium)

2). Imagine you have a bucket of water. now you kick the bucket so forcely that all water spill out(water -eq electrons). You are applying more power so that water spill out completely. so bucket falls off. That means there is no force offered by bucket.

So what is the conclusion. Conclusion is Voltage(sort of opposing force) becomes small if you apply more power and more electrons comes out (current).

So power = voltage X current is correct and no doubt about it.

But my friend wait! (not that some thing wrong in this formula-No formula is correct)

but nature(electrons or matter) is not so obedient to obey your order.
electrons are not like your servents. They have their own identity. these electrons interact mutually and also undergo collisions with other atoms there by moving randomly in any matter. That means your output current is not uniform. This property we know as resistance.

So Nature is Non Linear.

The very formula power = voltage x current is non Linear(voltage = power/ current- which is a family of rectangular hyperbola)

Try to understand more scientifically and not rather in terms of 6 years old boy. no boy will remain permanently as 6 age.

good luck

Now Voltage.

Well no more argues.
