I'm writing answers down in the Science and Mathematics section, but I'm finding that my writing is being obscured by ellipses, or these: ....... where my writing should be. Could someone help me to figure out how to fix this? Thank you :)

I think it's because your answers contain lines which are too long for YA! to show in the box.
For example in this line, I'll write a lot and see what happens, it should mean that yahoo answers 99999999999999999999999 puts a ... at the end of the line because it's too long. 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999…
(When I inserted all the 9s it worked! - You can check before you submit your answer by hitting 'preview')
Try breaking up your answer into shorter lines
or hitting return
