The maximum wavelength that electromagnetic wave can have and still eject electrons from a metal surface is 468 nm. What is the work function W0 of this metal? Express your answer in electron volts (eV).

-
E = Ke + Wo

Wo = E - Ke

since we just eject the electron with 0 Ke that means

Wo = E = h*c/L = 4.25 *10^-19 J

to find ev divide by e

Wo = 2.65 eV
