Why is it important that electromagnetic waves can travel through space

This is just one of many many reasons why it is important-Light and heat are electromagnetic waves.If they couldnt travel through space wed have no light and heat from the sun therefore plants couldnt photosynthesise, therefore thered be no oxygen for us to breathe and no food for us to eat - the meat we eat is from animals that feed off plants.Wed also have no heat from the sun so our oceans would most likely freeze so thered be no liquid water and again no life.-We would not even exist unless it could. The earth would be at ABSOLUTE ZERO temperature.......

Communication, our satellites that connect all people in the world on electronic devices communicate via radio waves which are electromagnetic waves... This is just one of many many reasons why it is important

We would have to invent some VERY clever reason for oceanic tides. Or maybe there wouldn't be tides, since the water would be frozen!
