Animals can....laugh

ok, so i was on you tube, and came across a vid of a scientist, tickling two rats, they were making a loud squeaking\chuckling noise,it looked like they and were having fun, is what the scientist said true? can animals laugh? what's your thought. thank you!

Animals do sometimes do that or make a laughing noise. It doesn't always mean that they are really laughing but primates have been known to laugh.

Yes, they laugh. I had a dog play a trick on me, about a "lost" toy that wasn't really lost, and he sat and laughed. Primates also laugh. Certainly other mammals laugh although we don't always recognize it.

Of course they can...Humans are also animals we laugh..
