You place two identical wooden pails in freezing cold weather. Pail A contains hot water and pail B contains equal amount of cold water. Which pail will begin to freeze first? Say the pails have no lids.

My guess would be the cold water, but I am sensing that this answer might be too obvious, and therefore wouldn't be asked at all if it were the cold water. So I will go with Pail A final answer.
