i was thinking about this. It seems that humans are the only animals that have sex for pleasure. Others just to mate. WHY?

Yep. Actually, dolphins are the only animals that have sex "just because" when dogs or cats do it, believe it or not, they have a purpose. that doesnt mean they love doing it lol.

Dogs and other highly social dog relatives like wolves and hyenas. Dolphins/whales. Some primates, for example Bonobos (aka "pygmy chimpanzees") which are also probably the species which is most closely related to humans.

Well dolphins also have sex for pleasure but the other animals do it because of survival.
