why does alcohol can cool our skin?can alcohol also cool a tea which is at 60 degrees Celsius? It is a science question obviously but Pls reply me ASAP 'cos I need it for my science homework.This is a primary school question.

All liquids cool down as they evaporate. As alcohol has a low boiling point, it is especially volatile(evaporates easily). Thus when you put it onto your skin, it evaporates and cools down your skin. It will cool down tea too. However, I suggest not to put alcohol in your tea as if you are in primary school, that would be illegal.
