as they are not domestic animals. If you want a dog, you can choose from a variety of dog breeds large and small, with more predictable temperament and behaviors.......
Can anyone give me some information about the Dingo and if they make good pets. I looked up on the internet, but it isn't very exact about them and if they do well in homes without children or with children. Does anyone know what type of temperament they have and how long they live? I've read that a few people have them, but I'm not sure how you would go about owning one. Anyone with stories to share or any information would be appreciated, Thanks.

There is a great deal of information about them including their suitability and status as pets under "Dingo" in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dingo

Dingoes are feral dogs that were probably brought by humans from Asia to Australia several thousand years ago. They have since adapted to living free as a wild animal. It would not be a good idea to have one of those as pet, as they are not domestic animals. If you want a dog, you can choose from a variety of dog breeds large and small, with more predictable temperament and behaviors.
